I'm Heather, a freelance illustrator and teacher.
I have always had a passion for art and storytelling, and I am grateful to be able to combine those passions in my work as an illustrator. I'm a keen keeper of hand-bound journals and get my inspiration from gardening and cooking and the daft things that happen in the day-to-day.
Graduating with an arts degree, I have dedicated over a decade to teaching Art in schools, sharing her expert skills and knowledge and leading teams of talented artists.
When I'm not illustrating or teaching, you can find me checking out new art exhibitions, trying out new recipes in the kitchen, or spending time with my family and friends. I believe that life is all about finding balance and pursuing your passions, and I strive to bring that philosophy into my work as an illustrator.
